Description
An Eye-to-Eye Turnbuckle is used to tighten, adjust, and maintain tension on cables, ropes, and support lines in sports facility installations. It has a closed “eye” loop on both ends, giving installers a secure place to connect cable loops, hooks, shackles, quick links, or other attachment hardware.
In simple terms, it helps pull a cable tight so nets, curtains, and other facility equipment stay properly supported.
In the sports facility industry, Eye-to-Eye Turnbuckles are commonly used for:
- Divider net systems
- Batting cage netting
- Backstop netting
- Protective barrier nets
- Tennis windscreens
- Gym curtains
- Fieldhouse netting
- Cable-supported athletic equipment
The turnbuckle works by rotating the center body, which shortens or lengthens the distance between the two eye ends. This allows the cable to be tightened or loosened as needed. If a net or cable begins to sag over time, the turnbuckle can be adjusted to restore proper tension.
